What we collect, where it goes, and when we delete it.
Last updated
LIGHT OF LIFE (“the company”) collects the minimum needed to answer an enquiry.
This policy describes what the company actually does. Nothing is used for a purpose not listed here.
1. What we collect
The contact form collects the following.
- [Required] Name, email address, message, enquiry type
- [Optional] Organisation, timeline, budget, related link
- [Automatic] Browser information (User-Agent), the domain used for the anti-spam check
- [Automatic] Visit history and device information (Google Analytics cookies)
Optional fields can be left blank; the form still submits.
We never collect national identification numbers or sensitive personal information through any channel.
2. Why we use it
- Receiving and replying to enquiries
- Detecting duplicate submissions and blocking spam
- Understanding site usage in aggregate, without identifying individuals
3. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 12 months after they are resolved, then deleted without delay.
We keep them so that if you write again, we have the earlier context.
Where law requires a longer retention period, that period applies instead.
4. Processors and international transfer
The company runs no servers of its own. Enquiries are stored on the overseas servers of the services below.
- Google LLC (United States)
- Storing enquiries and sending notification email (Apps Script, Sheets, Gmail)
- Google LLC (United States)
- Site usage analytics (Google Analytics 4)
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States)
- Anti-spam verification (Turnstile) and site hosting
Transfer occurs at the moment you submit, over the public internet.
If you would rather not have data transferred this way, email us instead of using the form. Note that email also passes through Google.
5. Sharing with third parties
The company does not share personal information with third parties.
The exception is a lawful request from an investigative authority following due process.
6. Your rights
You can ask for any of the following at any time, and we will act without delay.
- Access to your personal information
- Correction or deletion
- Suspension of processing
- Withdrawal of consent
Send requests to [email protected]. We verify identity before acting.
7. Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, which stores a cookie in your browser.
What is collected is which pages were viewed and for how long. Identifying details such as names or email addresses are never sent.
Refusing cookies in your browser settings keeps you out of the statistics and does not affect using the site.
8. Deletion
Once the retention period passes or the purpose ends, data is destroyed beyond recovery.
Electronic files are deleted so that the records cannot be reproduced.
9. Security measures
- Access to enquiries is limited to as few people as possible.
- All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS.
- Turnstile blocks automated collection attempts.
